It could send out the message about a base share price likely to be held to. 

The PP investors get to exercise at $5 and to me that puts a rock solid bottom on share price of $5. Without that bottom we likely have the pp $4 issue price as the solid bottom end.

Noront is still a speculative junior exploration company and it's reassuring to heavy investors that there is a solid $5 base. Might just nudge a lot of guys with deep pockets to take a position. Anything that limits or reduces risk is a major plus for a junior exploration company.
