It may be that you were doing a very fine job of indicating that caution is always the best course of thought in most all situations and that there will always be a tomorrow in spite of potential disappointments before the tomorrow that is always present. The News NOW thing repeats itself far to much and yes the SP is affected by this. I suspect it is even a Automated Trading feature of many Brokerage 'Trading Mechanism' Algorithms.
