as i recall a knowledgable person addressed this question earlier on this site by mentioning (sorry if my memory is off a bit on the details but i think this is what was said) that logging roads, adequate for the mines needs, can be put in for about $10 or $11 thousand per mile.
they need about 90 miles to connect to a good road as i recall him saying.
that means about $1 million to get an adequate, not great, but adequate road into the hopefully, soon to be new major mining district.
if this is correct, and the person seemed to have expertise in this area, my view is that $1 million is a rounding error on a capital budget for a new major mining district.
thus no problem if this is correct.
