Sum, the first paragraph said otherwise.

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (March 18, 2008) - Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront") (TSX VENTURE: NOT) advises that the trading halt requested by the TSX.V is unrelated to its Double Eagle project in McFaulds Lake area. The halt is pending news release relating to the Company's Windfall Lake project in Urban Township, Quebec.

I think that Murgor (or one of the area plays) requested the halt and the TSX-V decided that the news was siginificant ehough to request a halt to the JV partner.
