Good questions Milsy. Management is at just as great risk delaying good news as bad. The prospect for example of a leak on undue delay of good news is a direct liability of management and the company. Delay of bad news is the same. Sometimes, management in its discretetion may want confirmation of a detail or two before feeling they have releasable news. Nothing worse than creating false hopes or pessimism if confirming data is not yet in hand.

All said, this is very savvy management that is not going to throw banana peels ahead of where they are walking. That is in all long term shareholders interests. Of course ,the nemisis of the long term holder is the short term trader who may relish trouble or mis-steps of any kind. Stay with the game plan, management has given good advice. Always good to speculate of course.
