Broker Fees Shakey

Shakey, as many posters have conveyed there are many discount brokers that you can use to drastically reduce your commissions paid.

When and if you switch, ensure that your shares are transfered "in-kind" to your new account. What this means is that your shares will be transfered instead of your current broker selling your shares and then transfering the cash. Once your shares are held in your new discount brokerage account, you can sell at your discretion with little commissions. (It's the only way to go really).

Cheers,
