Read your early AM post a little while ago but felt it better to reply near or after Market Close.
In general there is NOT much worry for the Long Longs with respect to current SP activity.
Trader types must have it as difficult now as do the Warrant holders.
With the Market close today there are but SEVEN more days to decision time for the Warrant holders.
What will the SP be on the 10th of April? If anyone knows any time prior to the 10th they are definitely living in the future.
The PP purchasers, having been successful in pushing the SP down from December through January must have been rather pleased with themselves. Now they have seven trading days to keep cash on hand just in case the SP makes a sudden fast run to the UP side. The News is there to cause such a SP Run and they know it. However, as we have seen over the past couple of weeks the SP can be manipulated by other than our traditional SP Manipulators. At present it appears the traditional SP Manipulators are unwilling to ensure they PP price efforts will pay off in full. They got a barggan of a price then but one way or another will have to surrender their TRUMP Manipulation cards, namely the Warrants. If exercised the cash is out of their pockets and into Noront's coffers, and the resulting shares are in Escrow along with all the PP shares until June 7th, is it? That gives there characters something of a reduced Liquidity issue for a few months. Good for them! The "Sell in May and Walk away" is NOT an option for them and their Escrow shares, though I believe the oft quoted saying will be something akin to inapplicable in Noront Resources situation.
The Shorts, or what ever is left of them will be made public by next Tuesday's Market Open. Ironic that being April 1st and all! Then we will better understand much, if not only some, of the trading action over the past couple of weeks.
In the mean time all the Noront Resources Long Longs will be having themselves a very pleasant weekend. Many of the Newbies to Investing will, and have been, gaining some very valuable learning on how the Stock Markets work as well as on how they so often can be made to work in peculiar fashion(s), and all the time have access to a most valuable Stock.
