a little help please

I am an absolute rookie at this.

I choose to ask on this board as I see what appears to be a high number of educated individuals here with some sound opinions.

Is there anywhere I can find a list of acronyms so I can understand all the short forms used here

I have a small amount of money to invest (ie 15-20K) and see that the NOT SPQ KWG FWR FNC stocks all seem to be the hot topic

any suggestions or advise would be helpful, especially any other areas that I can learn.
