Well, Sambone, the question you posed, phrased in that way, will elicit only one response from any IR person! The true answer to your question, though, is surely, "yes" as even publically traded companies are under no obligation to divulge every bit of information they have, that others don't have. Even material information does not have to be disclosed immediately.
What I find important is that they confirmed to you they are still awaiting assays from the lab. I think that's likely very much true, cuz we haven't seen any dramatic moves in the stock either way lately, commensurate with a receipt and possible leak of assay results. From experience, we also know if there is a possibility of a leak, NOT moves pretty quickly to halt trading pending release of the subject matter of the leak.
