The McFaulds Lake forum is a free site. This site is paid for by NORONT Resources.

This board was set up for us to use for info gathering etc. It is also our community.

As such, this board will be significantly different from the McFaulds Forum. I personally don't care what they say on that forum. We have the best forum on the internet.

On the McFaulds Forum any play in the ROF is freely discussed as well as other issues. The only time I hear complaints is when an individual is negative or tries to be. Most of us read the Mcfaulds board and some of us utilize it for different reasons.

Goldfingers points are good but the board IMHO would take so much more policing that it would become irrelevant.

We all try hard not to post dribble and we also try to utilize the green thumbs as a thank you but often time the thank you is an opener to something you might want to ask or to add to a good post. Whether the info is relevant is for the reader to decide.

Let me give you an example. .. Everyone is not interested in Windfall yet many of us are. So if the board is cluttered with Windfall I begin to hear about useless posts.

Do you see my point? Informative is relative therefore I would ask that we all police ourselves as best we can.

I have read several posts that have been reported but I can see nothing wrong with them.

We don't utilze these weapons of war against each other. We use then when an infiltrator or a basher gets in and attempts to cause stress.

One more thing. Discussing these minor issues almost daily lets those who will do us harm know our weaknesses and they will play off of those very weaknesses.

I read every post I possibly can. I do this out of respect for the poster no matter how trivial it may appear. I will not insult an individual from my community by refusing to read a post. I have said this many times that the ignored posts today are the ones you will be looking for tomorrow.

The ignore feature is to punish a poster and to clear up your clutter. I never use it.

May I suggest a few things:

If it is a member of our community please use the email feature to discuss the post you are in disagreement with.

Please don't embarass any newbies or any of our good long time posters by infering that a post is no good just because you are in a hurry.

If the enemy arrives then we go into full gear. We get together and out them. The board will be full of them shortly.
