Windfall is an integral part of NOT to us! But to those speculators and quick buck artists they seem to be concerned about DE and only DE. 

You saw what an excellent NR regarding Windfall does to the sp or interest. Nothing. Only a few of us get exited. A whole page of posts about Windfall would only irritate some. I have received emails regarding this issue before. One person asked me what Windfall was!

Thats right too many rules. We can pretty well take care of ourselves from here. If the ignore works well for you then I say use it. I always consider the fact that even though they are on ignore they are still causing problems for others. So by ignoring you solve your problem but not the boards. Look how the ignore feature works on Stockhouse. Nothing works there.

Another good point you bring up is to read the post don't just read it. Mull it over to ensure you are getting the right message. the english language is funny with many nuances and with fast typing and reading it is easy to make mistakes or misread.

A problem I have is information overload. I make mistakes by getting info and posters mixed up. As a matter of fact there have been many times when I have misread a post, reacted and then had to apologize.  This happens to me every few days...:) I know this so its easy for me to apologize.
