Good evening to you all. I want to first take this opportunity to thank the overwhelming number of AGORACOM "NOT" members that have made this such an incredible forum.
From the high-level contributions of high-ranking mebers, to great questions from newbies, this is an example of what can happen when great people are given an opportunity to interact in a great environment free of bashing, profanity and spam.
As a result of this incredible success, AGORACOM will continue to protect this environment by enforcing our rules of use, which can easily be summarized as the rules of a polite society. To this end, over 30 posts were deleted this weekend and we are serving notice that we will continue to protect this community.
In this community, investors and prospective investors are free to share information, discuss it and even debate it. As long as you are adding to the relevant knowledge base of Noront investors, we want you to participate.
Someone brought up a great point that relevancy can depend on many factors such as your point of view, your level of knowledge and your areas of interest within Noront. I thought that was a great point, as it probably explains why some members can get impatient with discussion that others find valuable. Remember this next time you read a message or string of messages that do not appeal to you. This HUB is a fluid environment of new and old, so there are times when you just have to sit back and watch it flow.
In those cases where it appears the information is not of value to anybody, use the violation tool. In others where it appears a member is not of any value to you, use the ignore feature.
In those instances where things seemingly fall through the cracks, remember the system isn't perfect - but only so far as there is no perfect system. Too many rules stifles discussion, too few rules leaves the door open for too many unscrupulous and disruptive types.
I believe we have struck as close to a happy medium as possible. "We" refers to the partnership between AGORACOM and our great members. AGORACOM built a great platform and you continue to breathe life into it. Together, we continue to only make it better.
Thank-you so much for being a part of this process. Despite architecting its creation, I speak on behalf of everyone at AGORACOM when I say we have learned a great deal from each of you.
Most importantly, I speak on behalf of all Noront investors and prospective investors that have learned so much and will continue to do so for years to come.
Regards,
George, Paul and the entire AGORACOM Team
