Ten green thumbs for the National Post and their writer!! As a backdrop , staff writers do not have large travel budgets like  mining and finance execs. They need to have good sources that are cost-effective, in other words be able to produce a reasonably balanced story largely using telephone, internet ,red rocket and their own cars. Also, they are highly sensitized to sometimes being told only what people want them to hear. And they have a lot of time pressure so the article is  current when published. Whether you agree entirely with the interviewees comments, the article has done a superb job of trying to present the data. (I think the TV guys could take a lesson.)
