VTEM's will be key

The early game in the RoF was all about proximity plays: most everyone gets all hung up thinking they have to be close to Eagle 1 to strike paydirt. To some extent, that's still the mentality.

Extensive magmatic conduits don't care about the limitations of shareholder mentality: if their length of course is 7 km's, it is not swayed by popular opinion.

I had the privilege of seeing the early, not-yet-complete data sets from FWR and FWR/SPQ, which of course includes the fly-over for Eagle 1 as well as the target on the border of FNC/NOT. The early historical mag maps might lend a hand when searching out new anomalies/targets, but they are not conclusive. What at first looked like a juicy target in the uppermost corner of FNC doesn't seem to reveal anything now. So much for the "closer is better" theory.

Likewise, the VTEM's also reveal targets where one wasn't expecting them. Apparently John Harvey was tickled to have discovered another just NW of FWR's land.

And as far as the rumour of NOT wanting to drill on the 100% FWR claim, I can see how that could have some truth to it. It could be the one that blows the roof off of the current "yeah, but we need tonnage" debate.

Patience will be rewarded.
