Speedometer is broken

So, we were riding down the highway, pitch dark night, the speedometer said 90 miles per hour. Sure felt like it to me!

Then all of a sudden the speedometer quit working. That needle just dropped. No information at all!

Jeez! And to think, based on all the specs I read I thought this was one fast car!

I guess that means I can safely open the door and get out.
