In response to your post on "Optimistic point of view" vs Counter view earlier today I tend to lean rather strongly toward the "Optimistic" side.
There are several matters that several individual Area Players have on their plate that we have been expecting News respecting the resolution of for a couple of monthe now. We have NOT received even an update on these matters let alone any news respecting their current status. This is the general focus I have had for a long time now and consequently my lower emphasis on seeking Assay Results.
With out any Updates on these Board Room type matters I can only assume that there is either a "Hold Out(s)" or there are specific details that have yet to be firmly settled. The "Dragging of Heals" respecting several Area Players with respect to their LONG Proposed BUT "Slow to Actually Happen" Drill Programs figures significantly in this line of thinking. The other consideration to be included here is the Advice being given respecting the "Major Markets", the "So Called Credit Crunch" and prevailing Economic Conditions on a World Wide Scale and "TIMING". JP Morgan were accepted as Advisors by Noront Resources for a very good reason(s), as from observed behavoiur, Management at Noront Resources do appear to do every thing they do do for "Very Good Reason".
So, until formally informed, it is up to us to attempt to discern probable reasonable explainations to why things are happening as they are.
To help those who tend to follow discussion on a purely post by post basis and even demonstrate being unaware of their own most recent post(s) (or the underlying effect of their post content) I have reposted your "Optimistic point of view". Maybe it will help those who tend to not respond with anything more than a "Huh!" or forget that "WE HAVE NOT SEEN THE CIM LUNCHEON VIDEO yet.
From_Sudbury's "Optimistic point of view":
"Optimistic point of view:
They are in negociations with a major; perhaps Vale, as they held a spot at the head table at the recent luncheon. Those major shareholders such as Sprott have signed a confidentiality agreement, and therefore, cannot comment. The negociations involve more than just NOT; they are likely trying to work out a deal with some of the area plays as well; perhaps some such as FNC are holding out.
The major shareholders of NOT are the same shareholders of some of the area plays, but not all. A depression of share prices for all the area plays give the major some leverage in negociaitons with them. The others, such as BMK, SPQ, KWG, UC, FWR are not so concerned with the depreciation in the share price as they know once the deals are signed, they will all benefit from a huge lift in share price. To those who sell.....too bad.....to those who are long.....good for them."
