but I'm sure others can contribute what they think to flesh out an idea.
It seemed in the early days in the RoF that BMK and NOT were pretty chummy, and would borrow info, diagrams and maps from each other's websites and presentations. Then it abruptly came to an end, as if they were trying to distance themselves from each other's plays. At the time, some folks attributed it to RN being a little bent out of shape at BMK, but I never gave that any weight.
Now of course we have the benefit of hindsight, and the same Big Four at BMK took part in NOT's PP, so there is a tangible link there.
Question is , why did they distance themselves? I have only hunches, and no material information to back it up, but it does seem that it was a "Divide and Conquer" scheme. Divide "their" attention and conquer the area with staking and drilling. That way, any hungry majors wouldn't know who was the frontrunner in the area, or how the master plan would eventually unfold.
It would be a clever ruse to have BMK looking like a healthy competitor in the RoF when all along they were furthering the cause.
Again, these are just some passing fancies, and I still can't put my finger on what BMK is doing, and what their relationship is with Noront, but I think there is a chess game of the highest magnitude taking place right under our noses. And I think Richard Nemis and company are the architects of the game, IMO.
Feel free to add any arguments, for or against the ideas laid out.
