Labs Revisited

I was away and missed some of the discussion on the labs. Having a look at the press releases, NOT was using a lab in Val Dor Que. for Windfall gold assays and that is still the case. Up until Jan. 2008 DE core was being sent to ALS Labs in Thunder Bay for prep and then to ALS in Vancouver for detailed assay. It is interesting to note that the PR's emphatically stated that these were "RUSH ASSAYS" In the Feb. 19 PR, the PGE analysis was done at ALS in Vancouver, ALS in Austrailia and at Activation Labs in Ancastor Ont. The results came in with variances that were within acceptable limits. This is very reassuring to me as an investor that such pains were taken to ensure that the the concentrations of these valuable elements were properly stated. However, I can't find the reasoning for sending all the 2008 drill program (as stated in the Feb 19) to SGS Labs in Toronto. This may be due to the delay problems but the move obviously caused some problems.Again, it is now reassuring to me as an investor that the QA/QC put in place by NOT and their consultants detected the problems at SGSand a course of action has been put in place with Activation Labs in Ancastor and subsequently in Thunder Bay. I would now assume that the extra PGE assays reported on Feb 19 was a test of ACT Labs as compared to the two ALS Labs in Van and AUS so that a level of comfort was reached to enter in the new assay agreement and the establishment of a new lab. All signs of a competent management group. This problem now appears to be behind us.
