I guess a lot would depend on how one interpets the statement.

"SGS is processing the Noront requested retests and is planning to have all remedial work completed by Friday May 2nd, 2008"

Noronts pevious NR on the subject indicated that 400 of 744 samples were impacted by the error. The SGS statement could be read to mean that only the 400 re-do's would be completed Friday the 2nd. Who knows for sure though....it's pure speculation. The only thing which can be said with any degree of certainty from the whole SGS NR is that once NOT has the results, they will release them in a timely fashion.

From my long perspective, this week or next doesn't much matter in the big scheme of things.
