I think it may have something to do with DE1 eventually plunging off NOT's property. At this point NOT's resourses are much better utilized drilling the other eagles than satisfying curiosity about whether DE1 extends on FNC's property. I have shares in both so I'd love to know, but it is not NOT's responsibility. Peter Smith has said he will drill eventually and I have read posts that he has been sort of standoffish regarding any joint efforts. Therefore NOT did the right thing in drilling four shallow holes to detirmine nothing was close to surface and moving on and spend our exploration dollars to benefit NOT shareholders.
