A preliminary diamond drill program consisting of three drill holes totalling 717 m (2,366 ft) has now been completed on the Alto/Noront 50/50 joint ventured 33 claim Windfall Lake base metal and gold project located in Urban Twp., Quebec some 90 km east of Lebel-sur-Quevillon.

Further to the report on Holes number 1 and 2, Hole number 3 a step out 70 m (230 ft) north-east of the "Trench Zone", intersected highly altered and mineralized felsic and minor mafic volcanics. A heavy sulphide zone corresponding with the surface "Trench Zone" was intersected in Hole number 3 over a length of 27 m (89 ft) and this hole was stopped in sulphides.

Gold mineralization in the area is associated with highly altered and sheared volcanic rocks accompanied with pyrite and copper sulphide mineralization and quartz veining. On the Windfall Lake property gold mineralization has been discovered along northeast striking structural trends which host gold deposits to the southwest in neighbouring Barry Township.
