Oh, there'll be confusion, alright, you can count on that.
If, objectively to a true expert, the news is bad, there will nonetheless be several posts right here within minutes (hell, seconds) after the NR hits talking about the "fantastic results" "well worth waiting for" etc. If, on the other hand, objectively to a true expert, the news is really good, you'll get even more of the same type of posts. I think people fool themselves if they think they will get any clear direction from posts on this board in the time between the NR release and resumption of trading (my gosh, I certainly hope there is either a halt, or a release after the end of trading).
Objectivity is in short supply (not completely diminished, but in short supply) around stock message boards, and with a play like this, it's replaced with not so much greed, but with love for the company. I really think most frequent posters truly are well beyond the greed stage - it's more about the glory of the quest and the success thereof.
Unless you really, really know what you're doing and how to read NR's of assay results, you might as well wait for the stock to reopen, and just see what happens. Unless, of course, the news is so obviously great or poor, that you won't be able to do a thing once trading starts.
Besides, almost all the posters on here swear they're in for the long term, so even poor results shouldn't cause them to sell, it's only one of many targets after all. Eventually, over several hours, many people will chime in, there will be accusations of pumping and bashing and so forth, but most importantly the share price will be at least partially indicative of the quality of the results. And that may well take 48 hours from the time the E2 results are released and trading begins based thereon.
To those of you who are very good at analyzing reports of assays, you've earned your edge, a significant one, at that!
Now, can we get the darn things...
