With all this discussion on chromite I decided to see what some of the other players in the ROF think about the latest NR from NOT. As a large investor in PRB I decided to give David Palmer a quick call to see how my interests PRB are progressing and hopefully find out something about chromite. I should mention that Dave has been a great resource for me when I have questions on the Mcfaulds area.

Since this is the NOT forum I will not say too much about our conversation on PRB except that a news release is pending and our conversation was cut short by a phone call from the drilling operator. He did mention that break-up is taking longer than expected on McFaulds Lake.

I asked Dave about the latest release from NOT. Dave quickly focused on the Ni numbers that NOT reported in the NR. I waited for him to say something about chromite but it didn’t come up in the conversation until I asked. He mentioned that you could consider shipping chromite out of McFaulds once you have a mine operating. I don’t think he was talking about a chromite mine.

He just came back from the McFaulds area so I asked him to give me a feel for the activity level in the area. He mentioned that McFaulds area will need to install a control tower to handle the helicopter traffic. Seems like I heard this before on the NOT forum. He also mentioned that by the end of 08 we should have a better idea on the McFaulds Lake area. Patience is required.
