The first quote I find interesting is this one...
"Noront owns the Eagle #1 Discovery"
Then we have Probe's Land.....
"immediately south of Probe's 100%-owned McFauld's West property"
Then, onto the meat and potatoes....
"Probe and Noront are reviewing their ownership interests in these lands, the historical work undertaken by each company on these properties, and the history of their contractual arrangements to determine an optimal strategy for the ownership, exploration and development of these lands that is consistent with the long term interests of both companies."
Now, in light of these discussions and the inability to reach a deal at the present time, we then have this....
"In light of these discussions, the drilling program scheduled to commence on the McFauld's West property is being postponed and the Company is implementing an expanded drill program on its Victory Project."
Seems to me...perhaps, Probe is willing to offer up some land towards a JV deal but would also like Noront to offer up some land as well...like maybe a piece of DE1? Furthermore, until a deal is reached, they do not plan to drill the property and instead will focus their exploration on their other property. My bet is that Noront is likely facing similar negociations with FNC.
If so, then perhaps they should both go stick a drill in the ground and bring something to the table.
All in my opinion of course
