Can someone adduce good reasons why the Ring of Fire will NOT be the next Canadian mining camp ?
It seems that you can drill a hole nearly everywhere and end up finding mineralization.
OK, maybe the hit/miss ratio was a lot lower before Eagle1 (sorry PRB), but with todays knowledge the ratio seems to improve big time.
The grades vary and you might end up with all sorts of ore, but the chances of finding SOMETHING seem to be very high (with the recent WSR/MTX hit the north is "covered" as well now).
With the $60 M to be spent in 2008 and $ 250 M (and most likely more) over the next 5 years, I would be very surprised, if this (status as of today) would be it.
I believe strongly that we will see a lot more in the James Bay Lowlands, probably much more than we can imagine at the moment.
Back to my first sentence:
is there any reason to think differently ?
