I find myself musing about the recent corporate changes to Noront and attempting to look forward to what is coming next. I find myself pointing to this paragragh in the June 10th news release:

"The ability of Noront to attract individuals of this caliber to join our team reflects the evolution of Noront as a company. We look forward to the contributions of everyone on the management team at Noront to help take the company to the next level in shareholder value." said Richard Nemis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Noront.

What is the next level in shareholder value as referred to by Mr. Nemis?

1. Well, there is no doubt that NOT is on the move and positioning itself to take absolute control of the area only to be confirmed with the addition of these new bodies as indicated in the NR.

2. Is the term "value" above to mean share price or market cap? If NOT believe that their MC is much higher then currently reflected in their SP is it the belief of RN that the new additions to managment can unlock this value to reflect a more accurate SP. I wonder how they will do this? (release of the TI 43-101 or the TSX listing attracting more buyers, or a spin off of Windfall, or more timely release of NR's, or a NR on a Major buy in at "X" price, or more JV's deals that leads to 80% of area, or the purchase of more drills, or a NR announcing the location of the mother load....you get my drift...the value appears to be there and NOT is preparing for the next stage of its evolution on its way of becoming a high value seller to a major, but only at "X" value)

Also, there has been some discussion about the future of Mr. Nemis. Let's not forget that suscession planing is only prudent and you can be sure that an exit strategy for Mr. Nemis is documented to the board. Lets not forget that Mr. Nemis is 70 years young and at some point will want to pass the reigns over to his successor, whoever that may be. Perhaps that person could be one of the new management annoucements and is being groomed as such. I am not saying RN is leaving, but you can be reasonably sure that any exit by Mr. Nemis needs to be followed up with an equally top notch candidiate to ensure the same degree of confidence exist so investors are not spooked. Is this not part of the evolution of Noront has it looks into the future or does one believe that RN wants to personally negotiate the final price of NOT to the future respective Major buyers; wouldn't that be sweat as a final exit strategy...
