In this game there will be winners and losers. From my experience most winners in the stock market are not intimidated by such tactics. On the other hand, losers most always fall prey to this type of manipulation. If you want to survive your best bet is to adapt as quickly as possible. Don’t forget, there is safety in numbers. Drifting from the heard will only lead to trouble.
