You do not lose until you sell ....... and never trade again. Trading is a continuum. Because you sell and exit a position, doesn't mean you lose when one can consider that exit point simply a low on their sp chart. As long as one moving back into the stock, or another stock the sp continuum remains intact. Granted a given stock may have more profitability than another, but any given stock likewise has points of profitability that are greater than other points in time within the same stock.
