Hurt the shorters - put in a sell order at a high price

Snug asked on the Spider board whether the advice brought forward by X11 would work or not.

From X11 - "... when you have a sell order GTC, short sellers cannot borrow your stocks from your brokers to short sell thus decreasing manipulation."

Below is the reply I posted on Spider

In response to: Sell orders - curtailing ma... by SnugTheJoiner

I just contacted Credential Direct and I was told:

"If there is an open sell order against a security, then a broker cannot offer them for loan to a short order."

So, if you want to cause a bit of problems for those shorters out there, put in a sell order for 20-30 times current SP. At least some of the manipulators will have issues with shorting.

Perhaps mentioning this at the AGM may be beneficial?
