I do not think the issue is, "a solid rumour that's turned out to be positive for the share price." The issue, is the rumour true or at least partially true?. In the case of Miskealp's rumour about another nickel find and with what PRB just released I would say the rumour has been verified. This verified rumour at least for now has appeared to helped PRB's share price. Now that I think about it let's look at FNC. Rumour went out they are about to drill, their share price went from a $1.40-1.50 trading range to it's present $1.80-1.90 trading range, within days. If we find out this week or next that they are/will be drilling next week this would also kind of contradict what you have said.
