Good point however no mining co will ever build a railroad there or anywhere else.The only builder will be funded by the Federal and provincial govt.

As to Voiseys Bay/Newfoundland govt, Inco planned to mine the deposit and process everything in Sudbury. The provincial govt, rightly refused to allow this, insisting that newfoundland get some of the benefit of the milling and smelting processes also. They were at loggerheads for years until Tobin was able to get both sides to give enough to permit a deal to finally be signed.
