Remote is a relative term...

At least Mcfaulds is on a relatively fllat.... accessable easily in winter on ice roads...

Comparing this to some locations in BC, or south America McFaulds is essentually just on the outskirts of civilaization, and the costs to build roads into the area a fraction of the costs of the rugged coastal montains of BC.

Building, sevicing, and retaining assets in South America and Africa get more difficult every day, the country risk, and access to infrastructure much greater than in central Canada.

The market has been naive about these 3rd world contry risks and in many cases superiour assets in Canada are trading at huge discounts to NAV using the same comparibles.

I figure the doom and gloom BNN has most Canadian investors spooked at investing in their own country, and somhow thinking that risk is mitigated in some foreign country.

I think Pat B and others think that Canada has only a couple investments worth going long... RIM and a few others are their only bright spots..... while the truth is that Canadian mining companies have some of the best assets in the world.

BNN has turned into the mainstream premier bashing service in Canada.... Companies advertising there should pull all of their advertising and go mainstream on CBC and other chanels rather than these goofs!
