Good point, Polylabel (July 1, 9:02 AM): "Rich finds of more mineralization certainly is expected.... We retail investors ... sometimes think things work out gradually with finds being added to finds, when in fact it may just take a hit on one more rich ore body to set things up right."
Extremely rich hits, like Eagle One, are rare concentrations of metal (pockets, pods, lenses, etc) located in larger but , on average, lower grade ore deposits. The larger ore deposits, in turn, may hold different metals in different areas (nickle here, copper there, PGM and chrome somewhere else), but together make up the McFaulds Lake area, a potentially a world-class mining district.
As such, I personally do not expect Eagle One results (high grades or particular metals) at every drill site over such a large area. What I do expect are: (1) occasional hits by NOT.V or other companies drilling in McFaulds Lake that increase my confidence in the area eventually becoming a world-class mining district; and (2) a few more rare hits of extremely high value ore (like Eagle One or Two) over the next year or two. Those are the results we have been getting so far, and that is why I continue to hold NOT.V (and buy more on dips).
No one knows when NOT.V, or another company, will hit the next pocket of extremely high value ore. And no one knows what metals will be involved, or what percentage grades will turn up in assays. But many of us on this forum believe that when -- not if -- the next big hit happens, NOT.V's stock price will spike up to new levels.
I'm holding NOT.V because I believe (I'm speculating) that such high-grade hits will occur (perhaps this week, perhaps by next year). I'm holding NOT.V because I think it is the company most likely to make such hits (given their track record, their current financial position, their huge land claims, their recent management additions, etc)
Regarding predictions on NOT.V's stock price... I personally expect at least a doubling from current price levels by the end of 2008, a further doubling by the end of 2009, and another doubling a year or two after that. Eight-fold in three years or so.
Happy Canada Day from the Missouri Ozarks!
