Mark555,
You ask: "When is NOT no longer considered a speculative stock and is an investment stock?" Not for a long time, I hope.
The rough rule of thumb I've followed for decades is: if you accept the average risk level, and settle for an average annual return, then you are "investing". But if you are willing to take greater risks in hopes of gaining much higher returns, then you are "speculating."
I hope (speculate) NOT.V's stock price will increase at least eight-fold within three years (see my post of July 1, 2008 10:14 AM for my reasoning). This means I hope NOT.V will remain an excellent speculative stock for at least several more years.
I may be wrong, but I also personally see NOT.V's risk as very low.
Low risks coupled with great chances for a multi-fold increase in the current NOT.V stock price is a rare opportunity. It is so unusual that some people believe it is too good to be true.
I myself believe the NOT.V story is real and have positioned myself accordingly.
