Not sure how the margin thing works. I tried it out a while back, but the first time I got a margin call, I covered and swore it off (a bit of other kinds of swearing too).

However, below is some information that I found on the web. The way I read it, under $3, NOT can't be used for Margin. Am I incorrect?
