How I see this market manipulation.. newbies might want to read this

Here is what I expect will happen...with no real expected time frames to date, however I'm expecting good things to be released before the 2008 year ends.

What is happening now:

1. We are on the TSX-V (speculative market at very best)

What does speculative mean to us. It means "volatile, easily adjusted share valuation through legal manipulation (shorting and then going long), illegal manipulation (naked shorting which means buying and selling without making a purchase to put it bluntly), greater price fluctuations where there are swings in the overall commodity market (look at yesterday on the TSX-V) and finally stocks that sit and sit for months and years that skyrocket in price with a great news report (this normally is something a larger more stable market would not have happen unless multiple exceptional reports kept hitting the wire). Any news, bad or good tends to have over-reaction to it and the direction of the stock price is not always flowing with the news (goes down when it should go up or vice-versa).

Being that we exist in a speculative TSX-V exchange we must always expect companies to "play" with the stock price through the following means:

  1. Capping the volume/price by blocking any trades above or below their roadblock so to speak. Cannacrap is famous for doing this.
  2. Putting out reports that negatively impact the stock when the overall news released by the company has been consistently postive in nature,
  3. Using television interviews to attack the stock so that it falls the next day (of course they shorted it the day of the news release in full expectation...and maybe its illegal to do..and maybe they don't get caught doing it),
  4. They utilize the inabilities of the company to put forth news on a regular basis to soft bash the stock and drive the retail investor to sell or put stops on their shares (which becomes a sell most times and to the big guy); and
  5. One of their favorite moves is to attack the stock in the middle of exceptional news because they don't want to get caught after a halt burning in their shorts before they can cover.

So what will make this change?

  • The naked shorting is illegal and should be dealt with deftely by the OSC, but then they have to prove it and that takes time and more importantly effort. Will someone get caught?...of course...when??..who knows...will it help us ...not likely while we are in our infancy.
  • We are a young and growing company...a future mine that needs another good strike to send the stock into an arena where it will not be coming down again. Well...let me correct myself...as long as we go to the next step soon after the news is released.
  • The TSX is one big step we need to make....especially on the next strike...it will help to alleviate some of the frustration we are having with the Cannacrap types. Instead we will start to get more of the heavier long term investment firms making NOT one of their "longgggggg" term holdings. This will hold the price in a more realistic range (it shouldn't be dropping by 40 to 70% from its highs any more). Of course should a bad report come out the stock will decrease in value somewhat, but my guess is a good report will push the price up....if not immediately, in the next month or so. It is a more stable environment.
  • We need more news coming out at more regular intervals. This will maintain the price, primarily if the news continues to show growth in the find.

What do we do now? Wait and hold...or....wait and buy...but I sure as hay wouldn't sell or put stops on my shares. No way!!! That's for one or two and yes..maybe three years down the road. That is for when the mine is set to roll into operation, the feasibility study has shown the goods are there, with plenty more likely to be found. That is where the valuation will become stable and this stock will turn from speculative to long term and likely then into a blue chip (if there is such a thing in commodities) mining stock. Thats when we all get to open up the 100 year old bottles of champagne and wash ourselves, our family and our pets with it...oh yes and my Mustangs. That is the prize and this is just the comedy act presently that will in short time become the opening act for the "Real Show" the one that is NOT to be missed, especially by those who have invested so much time, money and nerves into it.

I'm glad to see Genuity is holding their own on the valuation of the stock. Their report should be of great significance as it will help to hold the weak hands into the fold. If there's one reason I believe we don't like too much negativity on this forum (and this includes relative comments but still without significant fact to back it up) is because we are in such a speculative environment and unless you are a hardened investor the hurt can happen to any poster on this board. Lets NOT let that occur....and "yes" there is always a chance we may only become a small mine...but I don't see that happening with the anomolies they have discovered on this site. The photographic images show anomolies a plenty...it will take years to find all of the minerals..we just want another big hit to get us rolling again. Doesn't seem like much to ask and I'm sure RN knows that and is making it all happen.

I hope this helps explain what is affecting NOT and has for the last year especially, since the DE1 discovery. We seem to bounce off 7.00 and then bounce of 2.50 to 3.00. Its really just part of the speculative market. Don't be unsettled enough to sell if you can hold on.

Long, Strong and Confident in NOT....Good luck..

MM
