Just so you know, the Blimp was used in Northern Ontario back in the late 1970 to move Logs out to mills. It worked very well then but once logging access roads were built by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation/Natural Resources Trucking became more economical and the Blimp(s) went into the Storage Shed, so to speak. When in use the Blimps were reported to be very quick on turnaround times and could operate in most all wind conditions. Given the normal prevailing wind patterns in that part of the Ontario Northlands and accumulated new k/Design (design improvements etc.)nowledge and improved Technology since the 1970's either the Capacity Tonnage and or Operating Efficiency likely has only improved.
