Drill holes are normally spotted to intersect targets at a perpendicular angle to the perceived strike of the anomaly and at a dip angle perpendicular to the perceived dip of the anomaly. Hence, the interpretation from the geophysics indicated that the "anomaly" had a strike of somewhere NE-SW with a dip to the SE.
