I have read, re-read and analysed this latest NR to death and all I can say is WOW. AT12 is exceptional in that it starts to prove the extent of the ore body, sure it doesn't have the percentage of Ni/cu that DE1 or 2 has but, and I don't say this lightly, it does show mineable ore and thats without the assay results. If we go back a few months and review the other NR's, they kept hinting at the possibilty of an extensive body of ore,. This latest report is awesome and I'm more convinced than ever that we are on the cusp of something outstanding.
One of my forays into the unknown parameters of the ore led me to start to ask questions on the direction of the ore body in DE1. What we know is that the strike is coming in at an angle , but where does the body of the strike lie. Good question, and one I've been asking a lot of questions about and based on the known information I'm led to believe the the main body of the DE1 strike is sitting in FNC territory.Do your own review and DD and see what you can find. Now assuming that Peter Smith knows this then one can assume that this is one of the reasons why he turned down the JV with NOT. But, he isn't stupid either, he has limited funds if he drills and misses he's screwed, hits and the stock goes to the moon. A hit by FNC or any other junior also move NOT one step closer to a deal with a major.
Whereas I applaud Richards comment that he'll go it alone, if he has to, the economics of such a move just don't compute. Sure it's a great rattling tool but not too realistic.
The unknown in this whole scenario is definitely the chrome. If this indeed proves to be one of the largest finds in the world then the chrome pays for a mine and all the necessary infrastructure.
Bottom line for all NOT longs we are shareholders in a junior that is sitting on the launch platform ready for take off , the countdown has been a long time coming but we're finally there, now all we need is ignition and lift off.
GLTA NOT longs, and have a great weekend
