This year Noront will be doing some sizeable bulk samples. Big enough to generate some cash and depending upon grade maybe nice cash indeed.

While the Quebec government doesn't stipulate a limit on 'bulk samples' you can bet they aren't going to let you actually mine a deposit under the pretext of 'sampling'.

Think what you like about Government oversight but they aren't stupid and do watch these things. No matter how large a sample it's still going to be a sample and not production mining. Maybe 20 to 50 tonnes? While 1/2 oz a tonne is great grade they potentially could get 20 oz a tonne or more from a high grade area. Still 50 x 20 x $900 is $900,000, fantastic money but not even close to the cost of Windfall access.

Noront could likely get permits and infrastructure in place to begin mining the best zones identified next year and that's why I call for 'next year'.
