I am wondering if the Canadian market is too isolated from international money?....

Like if we were in Australia...would things be very different?

Macarthur Minerals has a chinese company giving them big bucks ($10mil) to prove up their Aussi IRON reserves..hoping to reach 500 mt....about 112 mt so far to June..for a mega buyout.

Fancamp & partner supposedly have 1000 mt of iron ore already at Magpie...but it is on the back burner.

A buyout or big buy-in of Pinetree or Longview would give a sov fund or many other interested parties some nice options.... cheap....no thoughts on that seem built in their stock prices...no premium ..just lower and lower.
