From the above conversation, it shows that Noront did not have the assays result yet. Again, I like to stress once more when the needed time cycle( let say 120 days) completed, the flow of information will become regular and routine.
But I think that turnaround time of Actlab result may not be as quick .Other ROF companies like SPQ or WSR/Arctic star still had not have their report back from Actlab after 2 months . ( their assays result is not as stringently specified as Noront ..from their news )
From FWR forum ,once it was mentioned the delay of drilling because :not enough driller ,today mentioned the delay because :drill is not ready...hope that WSR has returned the heavy drill back to Noront.
even with enogh cash, the bottleneck for ROF companies are :
Vtem mapping (PRB ,LUND..) ....drills...drillers...helicopter & airstrips...lab ( SPQ WSR Not..)... TSE control
September is approaching, we may still have 60 days of good weather before the snow comes. This year the Farmer Alamac forecast for winter ,it is more severe than 07-08. The snowy weather can easily affect the transport by helicopters.
2 more months of good weather= 3 drills x 4 holes/drill/month= 12 holes more.
I had asked through Agoracom to Noront how many more outstanding assays but we have not received any reply yet.
My estimate is > 35 holes..
Voisey bay's bench mark for drilled holes is around 200 holes...
with addition holes from other companies' successful drilled holes, I expect we could not reach this bench mark in the end of year 2008.
