With more than a trillion US dollars to spend, while that currency still has some value, I can see Chinese mining interests tossing their hat in the ring for a large portion of McFaulds' resources.Canada has courted these interests for several years,we saw them buy YZC's Wolverine deposit this year and IMO that is the "foot in the door" so to speak. Can you imagine how quickly Xstrata et.al. will respond? Personally I don't think anyone can compete with them. They need it the most, they can certainly afford it so who will stop them? It's similar to when Falconbridge just laughed at Inco's bid for VB.Pickard told Sopko that he overpaid. We all know how that deal turned out.GLA.
