As accurate as I'm sure the answers from NOT are, I believe they are also convenient for tactical news dissemination which ultimately benefits the shareholder as they imply a significant delay in news, allowing some time for market sentiment to shift. It's painful waiting for things to improve but it's good for the character. :)
