Interesting comments. Hudbay is a Cu/Zn player and has little or no experience with Ni/Cu or Cr. My bets would go to Xstrata, Vale/Inco or Norilsk Nickel as possible partners or take over candidates for NOT's McFaulds deposits. FNX might also be considered.
