It is not surprising that there has been a lack of any substantial news by NOT especially with the sp going down as it has as of late. (Re: assays, updates on visuals etc) With the concern of a hostile bid in the air, NOT is best served to keep its cards close to its chest. Unlike a friendly takeover where the purchasing company can conduct due diligence with the cooperation of the company being purchased, a hostile bid is generally rejected and therefore the purchasing company will only know information about the target company by information that is publicly available. The less information NOT shares at this time the better as it places more risk on the purchasing company as it does not know exactly what it is purchasing. The less information NOT puts out at the present time the better for NOT and their shareholders, so be careful what you wish for. (NEWS) One thing in our favor is that in the current financial crisis banks are less likely to lend money to finance a hostile bid for the exact reasons stated above. In the present atmosphere what bank would lend money unless they knew exactly what they were backing.

I sure don't want someone taking over this company at these prices and believe RN and gang are probably fighting this battle as we speak.
