Gas & Chrome

First of all, happy birthday to me !

Now I know that the gas thing is OT, but I have to weigh in here. This is the part that really bugs me. If the price of oil goes up, for whatever reason these greedy oil companies come up with, then why am I paying the NEW price of the gas, when the gas inside the station pumps is priced at the OLD price.

They should finish pumping all that OLD gas out of their stations, at the OLD price, BEFORE they start selling it to us at the new prices ! That really psses me off.

If I was to tell my clients that their new rates, slated to begin at the start of a month, will be charged before that month begins, my clients would be furious.

So why the heck aren't we ? I certainly am. Never mind the bogus reasons why they raise the price, they even raise it before you buy their newly priced gas.

Okay, venting done..... now the Chrome part.

NOT has wanted to say something about the amazing Chrome discovery, for a while. In fact, since they announced, Eagle Two has landed. Since then, they have only proved up more Chrome in their drilling, as evidenced by many posts here today and in the past few weeks, along with comments from management along the way.

And Noront wouldn't and couldn't compare this deposit to another profitable Chrome mine, if the info. wasn't based on excellent knowledge and intrepetation of the Chrome deposit.

So, we do have something quite significant and therefore some of the numbers being thrown around here, are NOT outrageous. If the $87 one is too high, then maybe the $20 is too low. Sure, it's all speculative, but a lot of that is based on a considerable amount of DD, by many good posters here.

But it's good to see both sides, so that you can determine where the middle ground is.

I am more convinced than ever, that the ROF will be a major mining district in the NOT too distant future.
