that in these terrible market conditions there is another plan afoot?
There seem to be no feel-good stock stories these days than can withstand the downward pressure; all the money being made in the markets these days seems to be from shorting.
It's true that Noront NEEDS another amazing discovery to get the market's attention at this point, otherwise we will dwindle at these prices until the markets get a little bit more rational.
Sometimes if things aren't going your way, you simply have to work with what you've got, so given that, could this all be part of a plan to bait the majors, thinking Noront's in distress? There seem to be a lot of vultures in this market ready to swoop in when they smell blood. And then, as previously hypothesized, a bidding war, ( although a bit premature) would ensue.
I would like for that to be the case, instead of the less desirable scenario wherein Noront actually IS in trouble, running out of money and no deposit to rival Eagle 1 yet, and some comments being made by the CFO that are the antithesis of Richard's sunny comments.
I do believe the team at Noront is thinking ahead, and strategizing, but time will also bear out that they are human, and there will be some things that may have been handled better than others. The opposite may also be true, wherein with the benefit of hindsight, we may all see how shrewd they were.
But there is no doubt that these days are painful indeed...as painful as the dry spell between the exhiliration of the Windfall discovery and it's drop in price to 29 cents.
All of us would dearly love to see another shiny Ni-Cu core, but that's up to the geo's to get 'er done, not us.
