There are several Jr stocks on the Toronto exchange who also get no respectable valueation.

The whole market is being driven by fear.

The venture is trading near it's 5 year low... What is needed is stimulus to provive the incentive for money to move into this exchange.

The govenment could provide that via reducing the capital gains to 25% on venture exchange stocks... while leaving the capital losses at 50%... This would provide the additional risk tollerance for venture stocks.

WHY you might ask?

Because the venture market is the commodity resource creation for future production and price stability of minerals. To not react to the situation will result in future massive shortfalls in production, and thus massive price increases, when the financial crisis is finally over.

History shows that lack of investment in the resource sector has lead to instability and massive price swings.
