Everything we postulate at this juncture is pure speculation but it is fun to do when you are in for the long haul. As they say, Noront is an exploration company and it must be difficult enough for them to focus on proving up their resourse, discovering more ore bodies and managing their JV's. The cost of just the engineering and arranging financing of mining the orebody is beyond massive and will take a major mining company who has the professional departments to mobilize such an initiative. I was not even thinking about NOT mining the chrome and building a smelter and I don't think they have any intentions of doing so. Major companies are growth oriented and they want to be the biggest and best. They accomplish this by accumulating companies and properties. Our chrome deposit has the potential to present some major with the opportunity to be the largest chrome producer in the world, which should fit several companies' strategic objectives. A major will want to be in control of their product and this means mining and smelting and selling to a steelmaker which cuts out third party reliance and possible interferance. When the tonnages and grades are delineated and the mining costs are calculated, the real economics of processing and shipping will be detirmined. What we have revealed so far is intriguing to us and we hope will be lucrative enough to a major. The latest press release has language that would lead you to believe that is true. Just hope and pray that the economy improves before too much more information comes out and a major gets a steal of a deal.
